Guns n' Roses Play West Hollywood

Last night Axl, Slash and Duff McKagan played their first live show in over 23 years as Guns N' Roses. Hard to imagine it has been that long since the band called it quits in 1993, bygones be bygones as they lit up the stage like their never was a hiatus. 17 songs didn't seem long enough as the Troubadour packed house in West Hollywood cheered on the glam rockers. Welcome To The Jungle, Sweet Child O' Mine and Knockin' On Heavens Door were played without a hitch. Slash and Duff rocked their instruments and like old times Axl danced his stylish swagger, just this time he wasn't in tight leather pants! Joining them were Dizzy Reed on keyboard, guitarist Richard Fortus and Frank Ferrer on drums. Neither Steve Alder or Matt Sorum on drums made it to the show.
This summers set of shows is guaranteed to bring amped joy to very location they play. And if they play as good as they did last night, it's going to be an epic tour. Here's a little fan recorded taste of last night show
